Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter in the flyweight division. Valentina is her younger sister, and also a UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sports journey with an Muay Thai boxer. She won via TKO at the end of round 2 and was able to take home two subsequent bouts and both of them at the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. It gave her the record of 3-0 in MMA. Shevchenko stopped fighting to focus on kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous verdict and defeated Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina showed off her power of striking by tying Nievera by knees. Antonina took an UFC deal following her win. Antonina received an UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne Modafferi via split decision after she won her debut fight. Antonina bounced back from losing to beat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn along with Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, but was also defeated by Ariane. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
